Avondale is only a 15-minute drive from the heart of Phoenix, and it sits just at the base of the Estrella Mountains right off the I-10 corridor. It is home of the Phoenix International Raceway, auto racing facility, and it has three major high schools, including Westview, La Joya Community and Agua Fria.
