Peoria is well known for its spring training. Particularly, the Peoria Sports Complex has drawn visitors to Peoria as it is the first Major League Baseball spring training facility in the county shared by two teams — the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners. Within the same area is the Arizona Broadway Theatre for those interested in a musical performance during a sit-down dinner instead.
