Arivaca
Just 11 miles north of the Mexican border is a very small southern town named Arivaca. Arivaca used to be a Pima and Tohono O’odham Indian village, but today it is considered a small ranch town, with the population reaching 1,000. During the twentieth century, the town was used as a camp for the United States Tenth Calvary during the Mexican Revolution for border patrol.
