Somerton is 12 miles south of Yuma, located in the fertile Yuma Valley. Twelve miles south of Somerton is San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico’s fastest growing city with curio shops, nightclubs and other tourist attractions. Also, within the Yuma County are nearby attractions such as the Old Territorial Prison, Fort Yuma and 16th century St. Thomas Mission.
